Funeral services for Mary E. Hanson, 90, East Moline, are 11AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church East Moline or VFW 2056 Ladies Auxiliary. Mary died Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Mary Wynkoop was born October 23, 1915 in Avon, IL, the daughter of William and Bessie (Peterson) Wynkoop. She married Rollin D. Hanson on September 14, 1936 in Rock Island. He died February 11, 1988. Mary retired as an assembler from John Deere Spreader Works. Survivors include her daughter Patricia Leete, Clintonville, WI, Grandson Todd Leete, Tomahawk, WI, and a brother Francis Wynkoop, Wataga, IL, sister-in-law Barbra Wynkoop, Galesburg and many nieces and nephews.
