Mary Jane Hardesty, 82, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Visitation will be 3:00-6:00 PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home ltd., East Moline, IL. Graveside services will be 10:00AM Tuesday at Corning Cemetery, Corning, AR. Memorials may be made to the Rosewood Care Center Activity Fund. Mary was born February 17, 1930 in Corning, AR, the daughter of John Henry and Helen Irene Kirksey Hardesty. She received her Masters in Education from Arkansas State University in 1973. She taught remedial reading and 5th grade in Piedmont, MO, for the Clearwater School District. Survivors include her nieces, Carol (Keith) Beyhl, East Moline and Jane Shanks (Pam Bailey), Moline; great nephews, Logan and Cody Beyhl; brother-in-law, TL Shanks, East Moline.
