Mary Ann De Decker, 91, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at her residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Our Lady of Grace Parish at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with recitation of the rosary at 4:00 pm. Entombment will be at St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers.
Mary Ann was born on May 7, 1934, in East Moline, the daughter of Prosper and Bertha (VanDeWalle) Heydeman. She married Donald De Decker on October 30, 1954, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, he preceded her in death. Mary Ann retired as a secretary from State Farm Insurance. She was very crafty and enjoyed quilting, sewing, and doing Belgian Lace. Mary Ann loved to spend time in her flower garden.
Mary Ann is survived by her children, Lynette (Jerry) Livadas, Randall De Decker, Craig (Patricia) De Decker, Robert De Decker, and Michelle (Michael) Curry; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Leonard Heydeman; and sister, JoAnn Newton. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Lawrence Heydeman.
