Mary Ann Minson, 71, East Moline, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Unity Point, Rock Island. Funeral services are 11 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Mary Ann DeClercq was born on November 20, 1944 in Moline, the daughter of Alois and Florence (Sansale) DeClercq. She married James Minson on July 29, 1967 in Rock Island. He died January 13, 2008. Mary Ann had worked at John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline. She was member of the East End Club in Moline and had held various offices and was very active. Survivors include her daughter, Julie Minson, Moline; grandson, Austin Minson (fiancee Heather Jones); siblings, Charles (Leanna) DeClercq, Clinton, IA, Joseph (Sharon) DeClercq, East Moline, David DeClercq, Moline, Barbara Jean Barlow, East Moline, and Anna Marie (Joel) Oltman, Geneseo; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
