Mary L. Mundt, 75, of East Moline, IL, died Thursday, June 16, 2005 at her home. Private graveside services were held at St. John Cemetery, Rapids City, IL. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, 724 West 2nd Ave Milan, IL 61264. Mary Claeys was born October 5, 1929 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Charles and Zana (Dumon) Claeys. She had worked for many years at MA Ford, Davenport, IA. She was a Chicago Cubs Fan and a Quad City Mallards Fan. She loved her family deeply. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Paula Whitney and Peter Mancanello of Newington, CT; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Jolene Mundt of East Moline, IL; grandchildren, Lisa Fisher, Gary Mundt Jr., Brandi Zych, Melissa Lowrey, Jacob Mundt and Colin Whitney; great-grandchildren, Caleb Fisher and Campbell Zych; sister, Loretta Havener, Milan, IL; Brother, Vernon Claeys of Moline, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents.
