Mary Jane Nanson, 79, of East Moline, passed away Friday February 10, 2017 at Genesis–Illini, Silvis. Graveside services will be held 11:30am Thursday February 16, 2017 at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until 11 AM at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family of Mary Jane Nanson. She was born September 19, 1937 in Moline, a daughter of William and Ethel (Nelson) Kihler. She married Richard Nanson, on August 8, 1972 in Rock Island. Mary Jane was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, early country music and watching Days of Our Lives on TV. She was a pet-lover. She is survived by her husband, Richard, son, Bill Nanson of East Moline; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters.
