Mary Jo Pearson, 63, of Colona, IL, died Monday, August 25, 2014, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL. Private services will be held at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Mary Jo Baima was born October 8, 1950 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of George and Dominica "Minnie" Margherio Baima. Mary Jo had been a beautician. Survivors include her son, Sean (Melissa) Pearson, Colona; grandchildren, Christian Pearson, Julian Pearson, and Maddux Anderson; sister, Frances Dunn, Middleburg, FL; sister-in-law, Lana Baima, Darien, IL; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Leslie Pearson; and brother, George Baima. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
