Graveside services for Mary E. Ramos (Goodie), 80, of Silvis, IL, will be 11:30 AM Saturday, October 26, 2024, at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 9:00 -10:30 AM prior to the burial at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM. Ms. Ramos passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mary was born June 17, 1944, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Benito and Natalia Pachuca Ramos.

She retired from Oscar Meyer, Davenport after 15 years of service. Some of her favorite times were those spent with family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to yard sales. Mary loved being generous to all she knew. She also shared a special friendship and companionship with the late Alfonso G. Guerra for many years.

Survivors include her daughters, Sonya (Ramon) Ramos, San Antonio, TX, Juanita Ramos, East Moline, and Natalia (Rick) Cortez, Silvis; grandchildren, Devin, Macio, Iame, Martin Jr, Norman, Octavia, Yanessa, Jaylin, Tristen and Julian; great grandchildren, Natalia, Alonzo, Cruz, Micah, Malachi, Viviana, Molliana and Yavayla; siblings, Rudy Ramos (Jackie) Maggie Meguffy (Kelly), Eva Ramos, Joe Ramos (Dawn), and Bernarda Lefever (Dan); sister in laws, Carmen Hernandez, Amanda Grover and Charlotte Ramos; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Raymond Hernandez, David Ramos, Nick Ramos, Edward Ramos, and Fernando Ramos.
