Visitation is 4-7PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a Trisagion Service will be at 7PM. Mary died Monday, October 4, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to Assumption Church, East Moline or St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Rock Island. Mary Argeropoulos was born August 7, 1933 in Moline, the only child of George and Anastasia (Loizos) Argeropoulos. She graduated from United Township High School in 1951. She married Dino Sakas on November 15, 1964 in Greece. Mary had worked in maintenance at Sears, Moline. Survivors include her husband, Dino, son and daughter-in-law George and Maria Sakas, Antioch, IL and her grandchildren Eleni and Kosta.
