Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL. Mrs. Swanson died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at River Park Health Care, Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to the Family. Irene Burkhalter was born July 15, 1915 in Maquon, IL, the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Rambo) Burkhalter. She married Oscar O. Swanson, October 7, 1936 in Palmira, MO. He died November 7, 2001. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed antiques and animals. She loved her family deeply. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Adolph Guzman of Waxahachie, TX.
