Mary Jane Van Belle, 90, East Moline, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Private burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, next to her husband Gerald.

Mary Jane De Winter was born July 23, 1929 in Moline, the only child of William and Bertha (De Meyer) De Winter. She married Gerald J. Van Belle on May 8, 1948. He died July 17, 1984. Mary Jane held various jobs in the area including, East Moline Meter Maid and hall monitor at UTHS.

Survivors include her children; Cheryl Werner (James), East Moline and Michael Van Belle (Thomas), Elmwood Park, IL and grandchildren; Audrey Webb and Shane Webb, great grandchildren; Nathan, Kyle, Aden and Britney, and a great-great grandson, Lincoln.
