Memorial services for Mary Lou Von Motz, 81, of Rock Island, IL, will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 5, 2017, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL with a memorial visitation 9:00AM until service time. Interment will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery.  Mrs. Von Motz died Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Trinity Rock Island. Mary Lou Pouder was born July 27, 1935, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of George and Ethel Summers Pouder. She married Bob Alfrey and later Clarence Von Motz. He died January 16, 1993. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include her children, Robert (Karen) Alfrey, Fort Wayne, IN, Gwendolyn Alfrey, Quincy, IL, Terry (Pam) Alfrey, Enola, PA, Pamela Mikles, Colona, IL, Mary Ann Riley, Douds, IA, and Susan Mowder, Moline, IL; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Frank (Karen) Pouder, East Moline, Rick (Annie) Danneels, Colona, and Bonnie Engels, Moline.
