Funeral service for Mathias "Matt" Weintraut, 60, of East Moline, IL, will be 2:00PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 12:30-2:00PM Monday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Mr. Weintraut died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Matt was born March 28, 1949 in Vallejo, California, the son of Donald and Eva (Kofsky) Weintraut. He had worked for Eagle Food Stores for many years, where he retired upon their closing. Survivors include his mother of East Moline; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Jim Michaelsen of Temp, AZ, Elizabeth Morrissey of Moline, IL, Barbara and Ronald Zbleski of Chicago, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eric and Patty Weintraut of East Moline, Marc Weintraut of TX, Greg and Kathee Weintraut of East Moline, Philip and Kerri Weintraut of Glendale, AZ; several nieces and nephews.
