Mathew R. Terronez, 89, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Generations, Rock Island. Private Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Mat was born, Feb. 24, 1927 in Silvis, the son of Conception and Guadalupe (Ramirez) Terronez. He was a retired Sheet Metal Worker. Mr. Terronez was a Merchant Marine Veteran, enjoyed golfing and was a staunch democrat. He had been married to Marilyn Griffith and Dixie Sanford. Survivors include his children; Liz (Scott) Brooks, Honolulu, HI, Matthew (Vicki) Terronez, Des Moines, IA and Mathew (Tonya) Terronez, East Moline, seven grandchildren, siblings, Juanita Delgado, Asjacinta (Martin) Cerda and Mike (Lena) Terronez and his special friend JoAnn Eitel.
