Matthew R. Erichsen, 45, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his home. Private family services will be held at Chapel Grove Cemetery, Taylor Ridge, IL .

Matt was born on March 28, 1976 in Mendota, IL, grew up in rural Milan, IL and was a graduate of Rockridge High School. He was a maintenance man and skilled in many areas including lawn maintenance, snow removal and vehicle repair. Matt enjoyed tinkering in his garage and loved the outdoors.

Survivors include his father Robert Erichsen, Davenport, sisters, Michelle (Chuck) Hughes, Bettendorf, Allison (James) Huffman and Kelsey Erichsen and 6 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his devoted mother Oleta (Duncan) Erichsen and nephew Nathan Hornbuckle..
