Maxine Loftin Johnson, 90, East Moline, died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Services and burial at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline are private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arrowhead Ranch or to the Make a Wish Foundation. Maxine Riggs was born August 31, 1919 in Missouri, the daughter of Lee and Erdie (Hereford) Riggs. She married Delmar Loftin, he died January 5, 1978. She married Billy Johnson and he died August 21, 1989. Maxine had worked at the former National Candy Factory in Moline. Survivors include her children and spouses: Linda and Pat Huys, East Moline and Jack and Jane Loftin of Dexter, MO, grandchildren (spouses) Jeff (Rita) Loftin, Tina (Chris) Anderson, John (Donna) Huys, and Kristy (Jeff) Ketcham-Jackson and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 4 brothers, her son Voyne Loftin and an adopted son Bruce Riggs.
