Funeral services for Melinda S. Hansen, 50, Milan, are 10 AM Tuesday at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Melinda died Friday, May 20, 2011 at her home. A memorial fund has been established. Melinda was born February 16, 1961 in Sikeston, MO. She graduated from UTHS in 1979. She was a Baker by trade, last working at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, baking and cooking, and playing cards. Melinda was a member of Calvary Church, Moline. She loved her time there whether she was worshiping, helping out in the nursery or working in the kitchen. Survivors include her father Robert Hansen, Milan, sisters Daryla Smith, Moline and Vonda Rangel, Moline, nieces and nephews; Autumn Hansen, Mason Smith, Vanessa Crockett, and Rico Rangel and a great niece Rhiannon. She is preceded in death by her mother Helen "Joan" Hansen.
