Michael "Mike" A. Einfeldt, 73, of East Moline passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Silvis. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday at the Church. Memorials may be made in care of First Baptist Church, Silvis.

Mike was born on September 30, 1951 in Moline, IL a son of Harry and Pat (Wilson) Einfeldt. He was a member of the Silvis Little League Championship team as a youth. He was a championship bowler as a young man. Mike graduated from United Township High School in 1969 and went on to attend the University of Iowa, where he earned his degree in Business Administration. He married Ruth Lewis on October 13, 2001.

Mike worked within the banking and finance industry for his entire career. He was the comptroller at Community Bank before later transferring to Baird, where he was an investment advisor. He later switched to Quad City Bank and Trust and retired in 2016. Mike established his own tax business and continued preparing taxes until his death. He enjoyed keeping up with all of his clients.

Not only was he an investment advisor at the bank, but he also invested in people. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and was happy when all 13 of his family members were able to take a cruise in September. Mike was so proud of his family and loved spending time with them and enjoyed his lunches with long-time friends. He was very passionate about his country. Mike was a member of First Baptist Church in Silvis.

Those left to cherish Mike's memory include his wife, Ruth Einfeldt; children, Ben (Alexis) Lewis, Sarah (Adam) Jackson, Andrus, Alicia, Izaiah and Aleeyah; grandchildren, Houston, Amelia and Canaan Jackson; brother, Harry Einfeldt; niece, Audrey Einfeldt; and nephew, Jared Einfeldt.
