Michael Barlow, 35, Bettendorf, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at his home. Funeral services are 1:30 PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Visitation is 4-7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Mike was born February 16, 1976 in Silvis, the son of George "Harry" and Barb (DeClercq) Barlow. He graduated from UTHS in 1994. He was working as a machinist at the Rock Island Arsenal. He married Betty Rowe on June 8, 2001 at Duck Creek Park, Davenport. He was a loving husband and Dad. Mike loved spending time with his family and enjoyed taking his children fishing. He had a big heart. He also enjoyed playing pool with his friends. Survivors include his wife Betty, sons, Jordan, Aydin and Ethin, all at home, a sister Jennifer Barlow, Silvis, nephew Bryce Rogers, his mother Barb Barlow, East Moline, father and step-mother George "Harry" and Debbie Barlow, Moline, half brothers Brady and Tyler, grandmother Veryl Barlow, Moline, and his mother-in-law Kay Rowe, Bettendorf. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law Greg, grandparents Weiss and Florence DeClercq, and George Barlow, and several cousins.
