Visitation is 4-8 PM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Michael was born on May 23, 1988 in Rock Island, IL, to Rodney and Karen Franich Beachler, who lived in East Moline, IL. He passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at his father's home. Mike graduated from Sherrard High School in Sherrard, IL, in May 2008. He loved lawn care work, which started with driving riding lawn tractors at age 7 for his family. He was passionate about the way his mowing lines appeared and took pride in his work. He worked in lawn care and snow removal with his friend Jim Romeo, East Moline, IL, and for Kymbyl Komplete Kare, Inc., Rock Island, IL. He also worked at the Hy-Vee store and garden center in Milan, IL. He was a very intelligent, articulate, humorous, fun-loving and friendly man who loved his family, people in general, enjoying the great outdoors and playing video games (Age of Empires III most especially). He enjoyed ice fishing with his father and fishing with his family and friends. He grew up biking along the Great River Trail and Sylvan Island from Hampton to Rock Island, IL, with his family and friends. There is no doubt he loved Jesus. He attended church regularly with his family until about age 17. He ushered and helped in other roles in many evangelistic efforts at the Moline and Davenport Kimberly Road Seventh-Day Adventist Churches. Survivors include his father Rodney Beachler, Sherrard, IL, Mother Karen Franich: Sister Beth (Shawn) McMullen, Colona; Grandmother Jodie Franich, Bettendorf, IA; Grandparents Frank and Quilla Franich, Stinnett, TX; a nephew, two nieces, one grand-niece; five uncles, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rodger and Beverly McNeil and his Aunt Tami Hall Franich Enriquez. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
