Michael D. Christensen, 45, Davenport, died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendorf. At his request, his body will be cremated and inurnment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport on Monday at 11:00 AM. A memorial fund has been established. He was born September 6, 1964 in Davenport, the son of Ronald and Doris Christensen. He worked the past 3 years as a tire tech at Speedco, Walcott, IA. He was a hard worker, an animated story teller and was a very giving and unselfish person. Mike was a huge Chicago Bears Fan. Survivors include his fiancé Twyla Stock, children; Derrick Misner, Ashley Stock and Tiea Stock, all of Davenport, his mother Doris and stepfather Ronnie Wisdom, Geneseo, brothers Ron of Rock Island and Brad of Davenport and sisters Lisa Devol, Davenport and Donna Allbrook, Mt. Joy. He is preceded in death by his father, and sisters Brenda Christensen and Gina Christensen. OK Bears, lets win it this time!
