Michael Shawn Hamilton, 59, of Dwight IL, died April 8, 2021, at Morris Hospital Morris, IL. He was a long time resident of William Fox Development Center, Dwight.

Michael was born July 13, 1961, in Chicago, IL, the son of John and Sharon (Shear) Hamilton. He was buried at Rock Island National Cemetery with his parents.

Among survivors are his sisters, Wendy Hamilton and Mary Bodane.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Hamilton.
