Funeral services for Michael Harness, 60, of Moline, IL, will be 1pm Friday, December 9, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be 11am until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Mr. Harness passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his home.

Michael was born October 1, 1962, in Rock Island, IL, the son of Richard "Dick" and Mary (Brennan)  Harness. He was currently working for Executive Maintenance, Davenport, IA. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Dolphins fan. He enjoyed fishing especially for walleye. Mike had a soft heart and was always trying to help others. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his father, Dick Harness, Moline; sister, Elizabeth Roberts, Moline; brother, Brian Harness, East Moline; sister-in-law, Cathy Harness, Silvis; his girlfriend, Michelle Warner, Moline; nieces and nephew, Amy Roberts, Mary Roberts, Jamie Shoemaker, Joanne Shoemaker and Alex Harness; several great nieces and great nephews; and his best buddy, his dog, Ozzy.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Mitchell Harness.
