Michael P. Rasso , 79, of Campbells Island, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2025, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.

Michael was born June 28, 1946, in East Moline, Illinois to David and Helen (Perez) Rasso. He married Christina Charles on October 1, 1980, in Las Vegas, NV.

He was a salesman for Lakis Ford and later was a supervisor for Wittek, Mfg., both in Galesburg, IL. He also owned Mike's Taco House in Galesburg for many years.

Mike enjoyed listening to music and was an avid Elvis fan. He will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving guy who enjoyed cooking, grilling out, and bonfires with family and friends. He adored all his family and grandchildren. He loved Western movies and the peacefulness of Campbells Island where he was raised.

Those left to cherish his memory, are his wife Chris, of Campbells Island; children, Tricia Ann Rasso, Galesburg, Christina (Eliseo) Jimenez, Galesburg, Michael Rasso II, Scottsdale, AZ, and John  (Monica) Rasso, Rock Island; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Crystal) Rasso, Clinton, IA, Janet (Jim) Armstrong, Silvis, IL, and Helen (Gene) Davis, Decatur, IL, and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Helen; sister, Rita Hernandez; and brother, Steven Rasso.
