Michael W. Uzelac, 60, Rock Island, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at his home. Funeral services are 6PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is from 4PM until service time. Private family committal will be at a later date. A memorial fund has been established. Mike was born March 20, 1952 in Moline, the son of George and Rose (DeDoncker) Uzelac. He married Andrea Sierra on April 1, 1980. She preceded him in death on January 1, 1996. Mike worked as a welder for various employers in the area. He enjoyed listening to the Blues, working out and playing pool. Survivors include his children, Nickolas (Lynn) Uzelac, Carbon Cliff, and Melissa (David) Connal, Bloomington, IL, nine grandchildren, sister Kimberly (Stefan) Danielson, Rockmart, GA, and brother Dennis (Lavenia) Carbon Cliff. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents.
