Michael D. Ward, 58, Silvis, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Unity Point-Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services are 10 AM Thursday at Crosstown Baptist Church, Silvis. Burial is in Green Mound Cemetery, Keithsburg, IL. Visitation is 4-8 pm Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Memorials may be made to Milan No Kill Animal Shelter. Mike was born January 18, 1958 the son of Willard and Darlene (Hill) Ward. He worked for 32 years for Eagle Foods. Since the closing of Eagles, he had worked for Collin's Concrete, Buffalo, New Holland and TM Logistics. He married Kelly Carle July 29, 1998 in Chattanooga, TN. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Kelly, children; M. Joseph (Roni) Ward, DesMoines, IA, Justin Ward, Bella Vista, Ark, and Brittany (Johnathon) Quinn, Davenport, grandchildren; Taylor, Annika, Ashton, Keagan and Avayah, parents, Willard and Darlene Ward, siblings; Cindy (Mike) Setser, Silvis, Lori (Tim) Simmons, East Moline and Jeffery Ward, East Moline, many nieces and nephews, and his faithful companions Diesel and Crush. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and sister Debbie Brzostowski.
