Michael E. Williams 61, Silvis, died Friday, May 17, 2013 at his home. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Breezy Point Pavilion at West Lake Park in Davenport from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Michael's name to the Disabled American Veteran's of Davenport. Mike was born on September 9, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Eugene and Marie (Pugh) Williams. He married Sandra Dingus in 1975. He later married Tina Cook in 1994. He had managed stores for the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being with his family. Survivors include his wife Tina, children (spouses), Michelle Williams, St. Louis, Lee (Margy) Williams, St. Louis, Kassie (Steve) Mercer, Olin, IA, and Matthew (Carrie) Williams, Hudson, IA, grandchildren, Logan, Kristopher, Morgan, Alex, Tenia and Robert Michael, sister Ruth (Cliff) Olney, St. Louis, Bill (Francisca) Williams, California and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
