Michelle was the daughter of Daniel and Sharon (Launius) Lindell. She married Gregg D. Martin on February 11, 1997, in Las Vegas, NV.
Michelle will be remembered as a woman whose laughter filled every room, whose joy was contagious, and whose smile could light up even the darkest day. She had a heart that overflowed with love, kindness, and selflessness, and she was always the one who wanted to make others smile. Her life was marked by a gentle spirit, deep compassion, and the beautiful way she cared for the people and animals she loved.
Michelle dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in healthcare and at Porkies, where her warmth, vibrant personality, and genuine compassion left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She extended that same care beyond the workplace, often opening her home and her heart to those in need. She found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments by hosting family gatherings, sharing laughter, feeling the wind against her cheeks, singing, sharing her intuition, interpreting dreams, boating, camping, fishing, attending stock car races, traveling, and learning to play sound. Michelle had a deep love for her pets and cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories with family and friends. Known for her selfless heart and her ability to bring a smile to those around her, she will be remembered as loving, kind, and devoted. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by the people she loved most.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gregg; children, Autumn (Ignacio) DeKoster, Valarie (Andrew) Vols, Jeremy (Taylor) Vols, Meishara (John) VanHolten, Kimberly (Joe) Hewlett, Sean (Jess) McIntire, Chad (Angela) Martin, and many other “chosen children”; grandchildren, Avieyonna, Karsyn, Cloey, Weston, Forrest, Payton, Brantley, Jon, Hunter, Brooke, C.J., Jasmine, Katelyn, Cora, Cody, Julie, Nyles, and two on the way; great-grandchildren, Toby, Dominik, and one on the way; siblings, Theresa Hancock and Cody Sherer; and many other people she called family.
Michelle was preceded in death by her children, Bobby Byrne and Brett Martin; parents, Sharon Launius Lindell, Daniel Lindell, Barbara Ford, and many wonderful souls.
Michelle’s love, laughter, and generous heart will remain a blessing to all who knew her. May she rest in peace and be held in everlasting love and light.
In the spirit of Jewel’s words, may we remember that, in the end, it is kindness that matters most—and Michelle’s kindness will live on in every life she touched.
