Mildred T. Winthurst, 74, of Milan, IL, passed away Wednesday August 24, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport, IA.

A memorial visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. Inurnment will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Carthage, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mildred was born February 6, 1948 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the daughter of Louis and Erma Foresman Anderson. She graduated from Western Illinois University, and received her bachelor's degree in psychology and social work.

She was employed with Circle of Hope, Silvis, IL until her retirement in 2008. Mildred enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Survivors include her daughter, Jo Moore, North Liberty, IA and Daniel (Erin) Moore, Suffolk, VA; step children, John (Mary Jane) Haecherl, Indianapolis, IN, Sheila (Vaughn) Greenwood, Sterling, IL, James (Bridget) Haecherl, New Carlisle, OH, Michelle Hannah, Springfield, MO and Paul Haecherl, Puyallup, WA; grandchildren, Emanuel Lopez, Naomi Moore and Kayden Moore; great grandson, Waynne Lopez; many "adopted grandchildren" and other family; special friend, Chris Dominguez; and her beloved pet dog, "Callie".

Mildred was preceded in death by her infant son, Peter Haechrel; and her parents.
