Funeral services for Mildred L. "Millie" Hensley, 94, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Mrs Hensley died Tuesday March 27, 2012 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, where she had been a member. Mildred Marves was born January 12, 1918 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of Robert and Doris Shegan Marves. She married Ernest Hensley in 1942 in McKeesport, PA. He died in 1981. They moved to the Quad city Area in 1962. She had been a waitress at Short Hills Country Club. She had been a member of The Friendly Birthday Club, Homemakers Extension, and Moline Senior Citizens. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Bob) Yeager, Coal Valley, IL and Doris (Richard) Cole, Gilcrest, CO; grandchildren, Jill (Tony)VanDamme, Brian Yeager, Nathan (Brooke) Cole, and Jonathan Cole; great-grandchildren, Allison Johnston, McKinnley, Kaden, Jakobe Cole, and one on the way; great-great-granddaughter, Delaney Lewis.
