Monte L. Swanson, 51, East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at his home. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7PM, Monday, February 24, 2020 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.

Monte was born on October 24, 1968 in Moline, the son of Eugene Donald and Mary Ann Fleming Swanson. Monte worked at the former Quad City Downs and Defender Cleaning Service. He enjoyed wrenching on cars and going fishing. Monte enjoyed his time at the QC Downs and was a fan of 70's and 80's music.

Survivors include his son Cody, Davenport, siblings, Tommy (Nena) Swanson, Colona, Freddie Swanson, East Moline, Todd Swanson, Silvis, Lisa Oliva, East Moline and Tim Swanson, East Moline and many nieces and nephews.

Monte was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Laurie, Sheryl, Kevin and Missy.
