Myrna Patricia Lyon, 88, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Ridgecrest Village, Davenport.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at the church. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Moline, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County.

Myrna Milburn was born January 27, 1938, in Moline, Illinois to Oscar and Myrtle (Logsdon) Milburn. On August 27, 1955 she married Laurel “Denny” Lyon. He preceeded her in death in 1995.

Myrna was a dedicated homemaker. In her later years, she enjoyed cowboy shows, watching the birds and squirrels through her window and yard work. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Kathy (Matt) Walsh, Davenport, IA; Keith (Brenda) Lyon, Brighton, IA; Korey (Dee) Lyon, Tennessee; Kelly (Kris) Lyon, Missouri; Kasey Lyon, Brighton, IA; Kleat (Leigh) Lyon, Bettendorf, IA; Kolen (Tammy) Lyon, Geneseo, IL; daughter-in-law Jackie Hinshaw, Richland, IA; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Myrna was preceeded in death by her husband, parents, brother Keith Milburn, son Kerry Lyon, and grandson Colin Lyon.
