Funeral services for Nancy J. Ford, 67, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ford died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Trinity Regional Health Systems, Rock Island, IL. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Silvis, IL. Nancy Lincke was born June 29, 1941 in Rock Island the daughter of Clarence and Dora (Arp) Lincke. She married William Bil Ford, November 21, 1958 in Rock Island. She had owned and operated Castle of Coiffures, East Moline, for over 20 years, retiring in 1986. She had been a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed traveling and running her beauty shop. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bil Ford of East Moline; daughter, Kellie Van Meter of Batavia, IL; son, Steve Ford of East Moline; grandchildren, Shannon, Brandon, Joann Jean, and Travis; great granddaughter, Ashley Marie.
