Nancy J. Hahn, 81, of East Moline, IL, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, at MercyOne, Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21st, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Interment with military honors will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23rd, at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline, IL.
Nancy was born December 5, 1944, in Moline, IL, a daughter of Joseph D. and Viola F. (Farrier) Baker. She graduated from Moline High School, Class of 1962. She married Fred L. Hahn on August 9, 1977, in East Moline.
Following high school, she graduated from Moline Public Hospital School of Nursing in 1966. She continued her education and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Science from St. Ambrose College, and her Master of Science degree from Western Illinois University.
Nancy served 11 years in the U.S. Army Reserves where she earned the rank of Captain. She worked for 36 years as a registered nurse at Moline Public Hospital, Illini Hospital, Silvis, and Gastroenterology Associates, Moline.
Surviving are her husband, Fred L. Hahn, East Moline; son, Eric (Amy) Smith, Vacaville, CA; stepchildren, Pamela (Jeff) Griffith, East Moline, Timothy (Paula) Hahn, Milan, IL, Mike (Rovanna) Hahn, East Moline, and Richard Hahn, Sedalia, MO; grandchildren, Austin and Kiah (Anthony) Verbick; step grandchildren, Laura Bull, Scott Griffith, Chris Franks, Beth Shumaker, Amy Lambert, Michael Hahn, Andrew Hahn, Kristin O’Toole, and Matt Hahn; great-grandson, Westin Verbick; step great-grandchildren, Anderson, Charlotte, Olivia, Adi, Grayson, Barrett, Henry, Max, Corbyn, William, Ava and Nora; sister, Virginia (Jerry) DeMarce; nephews, Dr. Bryan Trout and Tom Young; and niece, Leah (Shawn) Baril.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Viola; and one sister, Grace Young.
