Nancy A. Hayes, 67, of East Moline, IL, died Friday, May 25, 2018, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, IA. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Nancy Fonteyne was born December 23, 1950, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Raldo and Lucy Phelps Fonteyne. She married Ralph Hayes January 19, 1991, in Maywood, IL. She worked for the State of Illinois, retiring in 1992. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and aunt. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Hayes, East Moline; daughter, Anne Hayes, East Moline; father, Raldo Fonteyne East Moline; brothers, Steve (Sue) Fonteyne, Geneseo, Harry (Jane) Fonteyne, East Moline, and Jim (Patti) Fonteyne, Tipton, IA; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother. Memorials may be made to University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics Oncology Department or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
