Nancy S. King, 72, Silvis, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home. A memorial gathering will be held from 5-6 PM Wednesday with a service at 6 PM at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Nancy Harris was born on April 1, 1945 in Moline, the daughter of Arthur and Ida (Harrington) Harris. She married James King on July 29, 1961 in East Moline. He died June 16, 2006. Nancy worked for ORA as a scheduler at the formerly Moline Public Hospital.

Survivors include her daughters, Nanette (Jimmy) Franks, Arkansas, Connie (Jason) Dunehew, Arkansas and Jennifer (Brian) Kimbel, Geneseo, grandchildren, Ronnie, Elizabeth, Louis, Katie, Cara, David, Ethan and Dewight, 10 great grandchildren and siblings, Carol Sartor, Helen Bowling and John Harris.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
