Nancy K. Reynolds, 77, of East Moline, IL, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 9th, at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline, IL. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. Her family plans to host a Celebration of Nancy’s Life for family and friends at a later date. Memorials may be made to QC Paws of Moline.

Nancy was born November 20, 1948, in Madison, Missouri, to Charles Carr, Sr. and Eleanor (Turner) Carr. She graduated from United Township High School, East Moline. She married John W. Reynolds on December 15, 1979, in Moline, IL.

She worked at Western Insurance / American Statesman Insurance from 1968 to 1996, and later for Graphic Image Distribution from 2001 to 2011.

Nancy enjoyed reading, watching the WNBA she was a big fan of Caitlin Clark, baking, flower gardening, watching hummingbirds and caring for her beloved pet dog, “Cookie”.

She is survived by her husband, John, of East Moline; daughters, Michele (John) Huston, East Moline, and Christine Kleinheider, East Moline; stepdaughters, Jean (Carl) Doden, East Moline, and Jennifer Watson, East Moline; grandchildren, Mariah Huston, Makenzie (Tyler) Cornett, Anna Huston, and Zaviour (Faith) Johnston; step grandchildren, Mary Watson, Chaz Cain, and Corey Harland; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Alice) Carr, Jr., Coal Valley, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eleanor; stepson- David Reynolds; grandson, John Huston, Jr.; and grandson-in-law, Christopher Bivens.

Nancy’s family wishes to express a special Thank You to Dan and Dana Anderson and her caregivers at home and at Hope Creek, for their kindness and care.
