Graveside services for Nancy J. Stanford-Nobiling, 74, of Moline, IL, will be 9:00AM Friday at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Anyone wishing to attend the service must be at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL, by 8:30AM. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Thursday at the funeral home. Nancy died Monday, July 7, 2008 at her home. Memorials may be made to the family. Nancy Salzmann was born December 19, 1933 in Henry County, IL, the daughter of Henry and Mae (Grubb) Salzmann. She married Hilton Stanford October 30, 1955 in Moline. He died November 2, 1980. She later married Donald Nobiling January 14, 1993 in Moline. She had worked at the Rock Island Arsenal. She enjoyed reading. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include: her husband, Don Nobiling of Moline; daughters and son-in-law, Katherine Stanford of Rock Island, IL, Linda and Randy Maynes of Viroqua, WI; sons and daughter-in-law, David and R. Jerleen Stanford of Moline, Mark Stanford of Leesburg, FL; step daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Rick Carss of East Moline, Susan and Jeff Stevens of Colona, IL, Nancy Nobiling of Des Moines, IA, Donna and Paul Williams of Moline; step son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Elizabeth Nobiling of Moline; 6 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Alan Brotherton of Moline.
