Nancy E. McEniry , 87, of Moline, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Silvis Center, Silvis, IL.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 16th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. Interment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. A Rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 15th, at the funeral home, with visitation following from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Nancy was born on July 16, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, to Richard and Edythe (Forsberg) Townsend. She married Robert W. "Mac" McEniry on September 8, 1956, in Moline. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2015.

She was an insurance adjuster for Allstate and John Deere Insurance for many years.

Nancy was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, golfing, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Some of her favorite times were those spent with friends and family making memories. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sports and activities. Nancy will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are her son, Richard "Rick" McEniry, East Moline, IL; daughter, Susan Hines, Andalusia, IL; son-in-law, Kevin Dopler, East Moline; grandchildren, Todd (Rachael) McEniry, Anne McEniry, Lexi Hines, Ryan Hines, and Meghan Dopler; great grandchildren, Cali and Heather; sister, Marcia Lechvar, Peoria, AZ; and nieces, Kim Epperly, Melissa Epperly, and Melanie Epperly.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Lori Dopler; daughter-in-law, Peggy McEniry; and her parents, Richard and Edythe.
