Neal Anthony Anders Sr., 75, East Moline, went to be with Jesus on Friday, March 7, 2014 at his home. Funeral services are 1:30PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time. Memorials may be made the family. Neal was born on February 24, 1939 in Marionsville, MO, to Lancet Herbert and Mabel Thorn Anders. He married Star Palmer on May 29, 1965 in Marion, IA. To this union two children were born, Dawn M. Anders and Neal A. "Tony" Anders Jr. Mr. Anders worked numerous jobs, but retired in the year 2000 from the Quad City International Airport in Moline, where he was in field maintenance for 25 years. Neal was a hard worker and always gave a full days work. He is survived by his wife, Star; daughter, Dawn, son, Tony (Michelle); grandchildren, Jennifer Campbell-Moore, Samantha Campbell, Amber Rose Campbell, Amber Ray, Quinton Ray; great grandchildren, Serenity Warner, Gavin Moore, Emma Mercy, Logan Jacobson, and Oliver McCammon; brothers, Boyd (Janet), Leslie (Jo), Fred (Loretta); sisters, Anna (Howard) Nelson, Crystal Govas and Clara Krambeck.
