Funeral services for Nettie D. Dunlop, 91, Park Vista, East Moline, are 11 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home ltd. East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 9:30 until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to 1st Baptist Church, East Moline. Nettie died Monday, December 15, 2008 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Nettie Drobushevich was born August 8, 1917 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Adam and Sophie (Belevich) Drobushevich. She graduated from United Township High School in 1935. She married Harold J. Dunlop on December 31, 1949 at the home of her parents. Harold died on July 6, 1988. Nettie had worked at AMATEK, John Deere Harvester, the Rock Island Arsenal, Fort Bragg in North Carolina and she and her husband ran the Sand Dollar Apartments in Atlantic Beach, NC. Nettie had been a 76 year member of 1st Baptist Church and served as a Church Historian and had taught Sunday School. Survivors include a sister Angeline Trummer of St. Louis, MO, sisters-in-law Elsie Dunlop of Kirksville, MO, Helen Turner of Moline, Margaret Drobushevich of East Moline, brothers-in-law Chuck Dunlop of Moline and Jim Dunlop of Combine, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, sisters Helen, and Martha and brothers Michael, George and Alexander.
