Nicholas D. Ramos, 75, Silvis, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at his home. A celebration of life will be held at the East Moline American Legion Post 227 on Sunday from 12 Noon until 2PM. A Time of sharing will start at 1PM. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. Nicholas was born on June 22, 1942, the son of Benito and Natalia (Pachuca) Ramos. He married Cheryl Liedtke and together they had 2 children. He worked at Frank's Foundry and later retired from KVF Quad. He was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, shooting pics and playing euchre. Survivors include his children, Daniel R. Ramos (Angela Fry), Port Byron, and Deana (Samuel) Wolf, Rock Island, grandchildren, Alyssa, Vanessa, Daniella, Brianna, Isaiah, Joshua, Daniel and Phillip, 6 great grandchildren and siblings, Joseph Ralph (Dawn) Ramos, East Moline, Ed (Charlotte) Ramos, Silvis, Rudy (Jackie) Ramos, Moline, Mary Ramos, Silvis, Eva Ramos, Silvis, Bernie (Dan) Lefever, East Moline and Maggie (Kelly) Meguffy, East Moline, sister-in-law, Carmen Ramos, Silvis and many nieces and nephews including special niece Dr. Jen. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Raymond, David and Fernando, niece Anna and nephew Lonnie.
