Nicole Leigh (Williams) Manuel, 49, of Hampton, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 7, 2025.

Born January 13, 1976, in Moline, Illinois, to Gordon and Sherry Williams, Nicole filled every room with music, laughter, and light. She attended Temple Christian Academy and graduated from United Township High School in 1994.

On November 16, 2000, she married her best friend and soulmate, Rick "Rayan" Manuel. Together they built a life of faith, love, and devotion, raising four wonderful children - Gabriel, Angel, Chandler, and Emerald.

For over twenty years, Nicole faithfully supported Rick's U.S. Army career, serving as a praise and worship leader and comforting other military families with her warmth and strength. She later worked for U-Haul Corporate, where her kindness and spirit touched many.

Nicole loved Jesus, her family, and life's simple joys - especially hunting for treasures at yard and estate sales with her mom.

She is survived by her husband, children, mother and stepfather Sherry and David Hooker, brothers Lee Williams and Austin Hooker, grandmother Phyllis Avery, aunts Tammi (Steve) Ames and KaySue Williams, grandchildren Ezriel, Grace, and Josiah DelRio, and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Elijah DelRio, father Gordon Williams, and grandparents Russell Avery, Bruce Williams, and Darlene Williams.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 am on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Nicole's laughter, faith, and love will continue to shine through everyone who knew her.
