Nora K. Ashton, 58, Silvis, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at her home. Funeral services are 2 PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Hampton Township Cemetery, Hampton, IL. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the family. Nora was born on June 13, 1957 in Moline, the daughter of Roy G. and Neola W. (Whitaker) Ashton. She had worked at Desaulniers Printing Co., Moline. She loved her son's cat "Phantom". Nora enjoyed doing ceramics. Survivors include her children, Renee Ashton and Justin Ashton, both of Silvis; three grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Belowske, East Moline, Vivian (Joel) Michaelson, Hampton, Sandi (Terry) Browne, East Moline and Mary Ann Ashton, Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents: brother, Roy Ashton Jr.: nephews, Roy Ashton III and Alan Belowske; great nephew, Brayden Browne; and brother-in-law Rodger Belowske.
