Funeral services for Norma Lambert, 77, Carbon Cliff, are 10 AM Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Hampton City Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Norma passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2010 at her home. Memorials may be made to Riverview Free Will Baptist Church, Bettendorf or the the American Cancer Society. Norma Wright was born October 15, 1932 in Ava, MO, the daughter of Austin and Eva (Howard) Wright. She married Noel "Joe" Lambert on July 9, 1948 in Ava. She was a member of Riverview Church, Bettendorf. Norma had volunteered at Illini Hospital in Silvis for many years and delivered Meals on Wheels. She had been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of nearly 62 years, Joe, her children and their spouses; Jeff and Dianna Lambert of Rapids City, IL, Teresa and Robert Frenell of Port Byron, Joe and Sherry Lambert of Carbon Cliff, Mike and Beth Lambert of Waukesha, WI, and Rodney and Amy Lambert of Aledo, seventeen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren with one on the way, a sister and brother-in-law Josephine and Louis Pebbles of Ava and a brother Gerald Wright of Ava.
