Norman B. Bost, 89, of East Moline, IL, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clincs, Iowa City, IA.

Graveside services with military honors, presented by East Moline American Legion, Post 227, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, those wishing to attend are to meet at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Care & Control.

Norman was born July 1, 1933 in Elgin, IL, a son of George and Mildred Brown Bost. He married Joan D. Egan on September 17, 1960 in Moline, IL. She preceded him in death on April 7, 2014. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Norman was employed for many years at International Harvester, East Moline, and was a member of the U.A.W.

Surviving are his sister, Louise Lateer, LaGrange, IL; sister-in-law, Kathy Bost, Reynolds, IL; brother and sister-in -law, Harold and Shirley Bost, Colona, IL and sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Larry McMullen, Moline, IL; and nieces and nephews.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and his brother, Dean Bost.
