Funeral services for Pam K. Theofilis, 88, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Tuesday at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, East Moline. Burial will be in Moline, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Monday(today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a Trisagion (Prayer) Service will be held at 6:30PM. Mrs. Theofilis died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Illini Hospital, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Panayiota "Pam" Petrou was born March 15, 1921 in Kolines, Greece. She married Konstantinos Theofilis November 10, 1952 in Kolines. She moved to East Moline in 1969. She had worked for Seaford Clothing Company, Rock Island, IL, retiring in 1988. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. God and her religion had been very important in her life. She had been an active member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Survivors include: her husband of 56 years, Konstantinos Theofilis of East Moline; daughter and son-in-law, Georgia and George Eleftheropoulos of East Moline; sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Tracey Theofilis of Moline, Chris Theofilis of East Moline; grandchildren, Sophia (Derek), Katrina, Dino, Christopher, Stephanie, Lindsey(Nick), and Kayla. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.
