Pamela Jean Ballard Hanssen, 61, Davenport, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at her home. Memorial visitation is 5-7PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Inurnment will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Lodge, Iowa City, IA. Pam Ballard was born on July 16, 1954 in Moline, the daughter of Melvin and Delores "Toody" Hearn Ballard. She graduated from UTHS in 1972. She had worked at the Rock Island Arsenal and EFS Services, Davenport. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Sara) Pearce, Moline, grandchildren, Drew, Mitchell, Shelby, Frederick and Alexis, parents, Melvin (Lillian) Ballard, Rock Island, Toody (Cal) Freeland, Mulberry, FL, sisters, Jewell (Jerry) Joyce, Wilmington, DE, and Susan (Dennis) Hill, Davenport, IA, 2 nieces, a nephew, uncle Larry (Sue) Ballard, Green Valley, AZ, aunt, Phyllis Laiminger, Ft. Pierce, FL, and her 2 dogs. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Woodrow and Ruth Ballard and Ruth and Ralph Hearn and step father, Chuck Hoskins.
