Patricia A. Brady, 82, Moline, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Trinity Terrace Park Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf. Visitation is from 4-7PM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private family services will be held Wednesday. Patricia Ann Donnelly was born March 19, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of William and Ruth Weimer Donnelly. She was always proud of her southside Chicago Irish heritage. She married James M. Brady of the J.L. Brady Co, in February of 1947. She was a member of Short Hills Country Club, the Rock Valley Tennis Club and the Mechanical Contractors Association Auxiliary. One of her life pleasures was playing bridge with her good friends. She was also an avid gardener and bird watcher, excellent cook and enjoyed playing golf with the ladies golf group at Saukie, Rock Island. Survivors inlcude her children; Pamela Strupp, J. Michael Brady (Kimmi Madden), Jessica Brady (Michael Brinn), Kathleen Powers, all of Moline and Thomas (Kathy) Brady, Columbus, OH, twelve grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a nephew Ronald (Bonnie) Bernat, East Moline. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jean Bernat. The family would like to give special thanks to the Trinity Terrace Park Pathway Hospice and Silver Cross Friendship Manor for their kind and compassionate care of Patricia. Memorials may be made to the QC Amateur Golf Tour Junior Division. Any memorials made to the family will be donated to special needs of Pathway Hospice at Trinity Terrace Park. Patricia's family would like to encourage all to donate blood.
