Patricia L. Chamberlain, 85, of Rock Island, IL, died peacefully at home on October 29, 2017. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a remembrance celebration from 4:00-6:00 pm Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private committal services will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, at a later date. Patricia was born March 30, 1932, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Jack and Mildred Walker Rinier. She married her kindred soul, Marvin "Bud" Chamberlain on May 21, 1949, in Port Byron. He preceded her in death in 1997. After moving back to Green Rock in 1967, Patricia worked at Kmart and B&C Market in Green Rock for several years. She liked to make wall quilts and do word search puzzles. She and Marvin liked to travel around the country. Survivor include her daughters, Colleen (Rodney) Barry, Alexis, IL, and Deb (David) Johnson, Sherrard, IL; son, Richard (Judy) Chamberlain, Rock Island; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Wanda (David) Dachenbach and Norma (Virgil) Norton; brother, Terry Walker. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
